I can live with doing my best and having less than optimal results. When I don't know what to do and life falls apart, especially when I had the chance to learn and be prepared, it hits me hard. I kick myself even harder than others kick at me.
Long ago, I decided to live today in a way that would allow me to be at peace with myself tomorrow. Sometimes I lose focus, but as life overwhelms I purposely turn my eyes back to Jesus and find that I have put the focus on me, and not on my relationship with God. When my spirit is out of alignment my whole is without guidance and leadership.
I have a goal and passion to teach lifesaving skills. I also believe God gave me this passion as a gift to connect to others and build relationships. Lifesaving skills are integrated and include physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. As I aid in one, I open the door to offer assistance in other ways.
